Forensic and clinical psychology services available throughout Texas. In-person in Central Texas. Statewide via secure telehealth.

Statewide Forensic Services via Telehealth

Waypoint Psychology serves attorneys, courts, agencies, and individuals across the entire state of Texas. While the primary office is located in Austin, all forensic evaluations, neuropsychological assessments, and clinical consultations can be conducted via HIPAA-compliant secure video platform for clients anywhere in Texas.

This is particularly important for underserved and rural regions of the state, where access to qualified forensic psychology providers is limited or nonexistent. Attorneys and courts in West Texas, the Panhandle, South Texas, and the Rio Grande Valley often face significant challenges locating forensic evaluators. Waypoint Psychology bridges that gap with the same quality of evaluation delivered remotely as would be provided in person.

Why Telehealth Forensic Services Matter

Many regions across Texas have no local forensic psychologist. When a court in San Angelo, Lubbock, or the Rio Grande Valley needs a competency evaluation or risk assessment, attorneys are often forced to either transport their client to a metropolitan area or go without an evaluation entirely. Neither option serves justice well.

Telehealth forensic evaluations provide the same diagnostic rigor, standardized testing, and defensible methodology as in-person evaluations. Dr. Tedder has extensive experience conducting evaluations via secure video platform, maintaining the clinical quality and rapport necessary for valid assessment regardless of distance.

If you are an attorney, court officer, or agency representative in a region with limited access to forensic psychology services, Waypoint Psychology can help. Reach out for a consultation to discuss your referral question and how telehealth evaluation can meet your needs.
